The engine will stop for no reason when slowing down and will not start for 5 or 6 minutes. After it starts, it may run for 7 or 8 months before it does it again. I have had it to 4 different mechanics who have had it for over a week each and it would not fail. Now sometimes it will not start after it has been sitting overnight. When I have it towed to the garage, it will start right up. I have had the fuel injectors cleaned, replaced the CPS, Fuel pump relay, idle control valve, pvc valve and egr, gas filter, fuel pump & gas cap. I have had it to garages over a dozen times and no one can get it to fail for them. I never know when it will not start or when it will stop when I am slowing down and no one had been able to find the problem in 3 years. Thanks Bob

It sounds like theres a wiring issue here. Its going to be impossible to diagnose over the internet. However, if the vehicle turns over but doesn't start then I can maybe speculate based on what youve told me. It seems like you should check the wiring and plugs at the ECM first. Are there any codes, or does the check engine light flash when this happens? You may also have a cam or crank sensor dropping out, and that usually sets a code even if the light doesn't stay on
