So my car lost its fluid last night, went to fill it up this morning thinking it was the cap. When putting fluid in, it is all pouring back out somewhere near the starter. I cant see what the source is but I don't know what it might be other than my lower radiator hose. Is anything else (cooling system) in that general area that it could be leaking from other than that hose. This is a 1996 honda accord, 4cyl non v-tech.

Could be many things. It could also be leaking a distance from there and running down something. The car needs to be put on a lift and inspected from below to follow the leak to it's source. I would use a tow truck to get it to the shop. Don't drive it.

Well that answer did not discourage me! I found the leak, with no lift, and also saved myself the $150.00 for a tow truck. It was the heater hose.

It wasn't meant to discourage you. It's the way cars are inspected. If you can't see what you need to from the top, then you try to look from below which is pretty difficult to do with the car on the ground. If towing companies in your area are charging that much, then I suggest you look into joining AAA. It likely won't be the last time you need a tow truck.
