While driving. My 1996 Ford F350 7.3 just stopped running. No warning, no stalling just completely stopped. Will not start at all. Starter will spin over but vechile will not start. Changed CPS. Will still not start. Someone suggested checking the HIGH PRESSURE PUMP. My vechile has 2.1 in each tank. Is there a relay switch or a inertia switch on my diesel. Or can you suggest any other options to try? Thanks ahead of time. Kelly Hunter

High pressure pump they talk about is for oil pressure not fuel pressure. Your vehicle uses a high pressure oil pump to fire the injectors and if not enough is being built up can cause the issue described. Would recommend a shop to diagnose as throwing parts at this vehicle can turn ugly real quick in the thousands of dollars
