Leaking oil

Hi I have a 300 c diesel but it is spitting oil over the turbo area of engine and if u rev it the turbo is making a little whinning noise the car has not been used since it began leaking oil what are the possable causes

Hi there,

Turbo's do make a whine type noise if the turbo shaft bearings are worn, there will be a high pressure oil feed into the turbo and a low pressure drain back to the sump, you may have a leak at the high pressure side, this may also cause the whine if there is not enough lubrication to the turbo shaft,
