I cannot get the drivers side door on my Camry.

I cannot get the drivers side door on my camry open. I can un lock it or lock it. But the handles don't seem to disconnect the black plastic thing from the striker, it seems that a spring has come off of the piece the the inside handle connects to near the top of the mechinism. Now the spring is gone. Is there a specific piece I can try to get ahold of with a coat hanger or something to open the door. Then I can take the pannel off and have e better look
