Starter

Could the noise be coming from the starter when I acclerate and rev up the engine cause the car just didnt start did click click click and fianlly hit what can be the probelem

I brought It back hopefully get some answers

I took it back to my mechanic he replaced my battery cause it gave up a low reading and he felt I had a bad cell he started it all day and it started fine I brought it home was programing my radio had the key in the ignition but car off and went to start it got click click click then finally it hit and started I confused just as he is now he think it could be ignition switch what else can it be. And he took off one of my heat sheilds and he checked underneath everything still new not rotted and tight and I still have that rattling sound when I accelrating and rev up the engine I dont know what the heck is going on hope to get some answer I am very frustrated with this car now

I have a 95 cutlass ciera and my starter problem has been resolved but now I have a rattling noise when I accelrate and rev up the engine my whole entire system underneath is new he took off heat sheild so he said it coming from the transmission area and mine rebuilt I was just wondering could it be that I need to get done a tranmission tune up would that resolve the problem just want to know havent got one in a while since tranny was rebuilt at 72k I got 81k now but read every 2 years and it past that just want to know also when they scrap the pan and take it off do they see inside the tranny and what do they do beside drain the old fluid scrap the pan and add fresh fluid please let me know thank you
