When I start my 1995 izuzu trooper my Lifter makes a noise an stops at right at about 2 2n half 1/2 Rpms it quits an stops making noise can I replace it or what is the problem it sounds like a tap its not a knock I just put that cause it sounds like that but its not

Change oil add Marvil Mystery Oil per directions may clean slug from lifter keep it from leaking down over night

Ok it happend when the oil blocked up on the left side and now it makes noise like a tapping

What does blocked up mean? Lifters are like hydraulic shocks so if spring weak or full of slug oil leaks out and lifter bangs on cam till it pumps up

I used Lucas cause they said it was better and I got anti sludge formula castrol gtx and it still makes noise after I put it in an turned it went around the block
