I am having an issue with the brakes getting smoking hot. Not only that the brakes over power thr car to a point that if I left off the brakes then the car stops with 100 feet. When the brakes are acting up, the car cannot build any speed up. The issue happens within a two mile drive and get smoking hot in that distance as well. They seem to be getting stuck and dragging. I have replaced the master cylindar, portional value, roters, and pads.

I tmay be front brake hoses or frozen calipers, open bleeder screw when this happens if fluid come out with car stopped and foot not on brake is an indication of hoses bad.

Front brakes will get hot normally but excessive is only by temp which I can't discern from here. So it may be frozen calipers is your problem. Have a local pro look at them as of now that is the best path to take.

After I drove it again after the first time, it hasnt acted up again. It has been fine for my 3 mile drive a day. But a new issue has arose. It may have just have been a one time thing but today when at stoplight and in drive, the car would being to chug/shake. I would have yo put thr brake all the way otherwise the car would continue forward. It does leak some transmission fluid. What do you think is the cause of thr problem?
