THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON I TOOK IT TO A SHOP AND THEY SAID THE COMPUTER WAS NOT READING THE CODES AND THEY HAD TO GET ANOTHER MACHINE TO CHECK IT I GO BACK ON MONDAY HELP

Go to another shop. You have an obd 1 system. In the right lower kick panel, you jump one connector with a paper clip and watch the flashes on the check engine light to see the code.

You need a book that will identify the code and the system that has a failure. I suggest a shop familiar with these repairs.

On the right side of the dash 5to the right of the glove box there will be a 2 wire connecter. Jump them together turn the key on and the engine light will flash 2 diget codes. Send them to me and I lill assist.
