Stereo takes my amp?

If my stereo takes my amp. Gauge down below 10 amps, would that effect the performance of other components such as my fuel pump, or heater. If my truck is running more than one electrical item it doesnt run right. Loss of power sputtering etc. Please help. My alt. Seems to run fine if I dont turn nothing on what is it.

I'd use a digital multimeter across battery posts, engine running, all electrical on. If the reading gets below 13 volts, your alternator can't handle it. Just my opinion.
