It will restart but then will stall after being driven a half city block. Is this my battery? For a while I have had a problem starting my car. It would start and drive but every now and then I had to try to start 2 or 3 times before the engine would turn. Now it starts no problem but stalls very shortly after.

If you have the spider fuel system, that would be the first place I'd look. Use a gauge and check fuel pressure. How long since a tune-up?

Checking your battery--connections--charging system is a good idea. If you use a digital multimeter across the battery posts, everything off, the generic spec for a full charge is around 12.6 volts. Engine running, the reading should be over 13 volts, if the charging system is working.
