Electrical Problems

On my way to work this morning when my radio begins to turn on/off repeatedly. Then the Check Engine and ABS lights come on. Also the battery gauge, oil pressure gauge, and tachometer quit working. And when I pull the headlight switch the speedometer quits working. Any ideas?

Check the alternator charging rate. You couls have insuficient charge and the battery is being worn down.

The other thing to check would be the ignition switch.

Are you able to restart after turning engine off?

Thanks! I made it all the way to work and when I went to back into my parking spot it quit. It will not turn over when trying to restart. All interior lights were also dim so I think the battery is dead now.

I believe the alternator is not charging the vehicle. Get the battery recharged and test the alternator.
