I have a 1995 ford mustang coupe, v6 and lately when I start up my car, it turns off. I can restart it with no problem and when I drive it for awhile, I can turn it off and turn it back on and it doesn't turn off no more. When I leave it sitting for awhile thats when it shuts off after I start it. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my car. It never did it when I bought my car, now it is. It seems like it might not be getting enough gas to the engine or something but I don't know what the problem is.

It sounds like you are losing fuel pressure when the car sits. Check fuel pump pressure and then pay attention to fuel pressure drop off. The system should hold pressure for a while. If you find it drop of quickly, you may have a leak, a weak fuel pump, or a leaking injector. For directions to check fuel pump pressure, go to our homepage unde the DIY section. There is a video and directions.
