My car will crank but wont start when it is damp or raining outside. Could there be a crack in the coils, that is allowing moisture into the coils?

How long since a tune-up? When the problem is ongoing, did you visually check for spark at the spark plugs, engine cranking? If you have good spark, then have to look elsewhere. On a nice day when it is running ok, use a spray bottle with water, spray the spark plug wires, see if there is any effect?
