My 95 riviera supercharged wont start. Replaced the battery and starter. When I turn the key they car clicks once and then everything dims. The negative battery cable gets alittle hot. All the fuses check out ok and the terminals are clean

Charge battery and have it tested for condition incluiding load test. Auto parts tire store do for free. Do that first. If battery is good check for a draw, go to how to repair item 9 under batteries.

Check what I said in first reply if the battery is chargedit should start you can also try another key as it may not be a good one you are using the diode may be worn out. Other wise take this to a professional who can diagnose it as it should go with everything I've replied
