I have a 1995 Buick Regal Gran Sport am having issues with one problem have real strong gas smell and idles fine with just a slite hesitation at times but the big problem is that it idles fine put it in gear and go to take then it wants to just spit spudder and tben wants to die but starts right back up

If you smell raw gas, that means you have a leak and it has to be found. It will evaporate very quickly so you may have to look for the wet spot with the engine running. I don't know if it's going to be related to you performance problem yet but the leak has to be found first.
