So you smell it under hood? I mean you could smell it from exhaust just being outside of car. And it's too small a leak to show on ground as spots? You can jack and look under front of car for drips anywhere hanging onto parts. Usual places for leaks are hose clamps, radiator cap, water pump weep hole, radiator seams, overflow bottle, intake gaskets, edges/corners of head gasket, rusted freeze plugs. Hoses can have pinholes/rips under pressure. If you can find no sign of antifreeze showing you could try stop leak and see what happens?

Thats good news. My grandaughter has been living with a similar problem in her tempo and she just lives with it. Adds anti freeze when necessary. She has to add more often in the summer. I get used antifreeze for free so no biggy.
