I have a 94 Jetta and the temp gauge light comes on and flash yellow whats the problem and how can I fix it

I put anti freeze, drove it around the corner and the light was still on

It means that your car is likely overheating (It could also be a problem with the sensor). You should get it to a repair shop as soon as possible. If this is not dealt with it can cause major engine damage.
