It was low on fluid, not empty. It runs like a champ in Drive. It starts great and shifts very smoothly.

I have a 1994 Toyota 4Runner that will not go into reverse and Neutral is Drive and there is no Neutral. So, instead of PRNDL it is PPDDD.

If there is a check engine light on, have the computer scanned to see if there is a trouble code stored for the transmission. Other than that, it could be a pressure issue if it was too low on trans fluid.
