Vehicle stalls when trting to accelerate

I have a 1994 lexus es300 and it cranks and idle find. It will pick up speed gradually but when the accelerator is pressed hard the vehicle stalls. I have put a scanner on it and got a P1300 code. Car has been running find up to now, vehicle has 14,6000 miles on it.

It sounds like you have a plugged catalytic converter but to confirm the issue here is a guide

Yep you where right I did the test and the cat failed so I had it replaced for $550.00 now the car runs great! Plenty of power, thanks for the tip and god bless.
