I hope Saturntech9 will be among one of the technicians able to read this and provide us with some advice on how to fix the high idling in our vehicle. I enjoined very much the advice that was provided to the owner of the 1995 Saturn SL2 on May 7, 2012. Similar to that situation our car had a continuous high idle regardless of engine temperature back in 2006. So, ever since we replaced the lower coolant temperature sensor the high idle problem was solved when the engine is running after five seconds on cold starts. In other words, when the engine is restarted and the engine is not cold then there is no high idle problem. Otherwise, the high idle at about 2,000 rpm's. Will be present for the first five seconds only when starting the engine on a cold start then it will drop to a normal 750 rpm's. Also, we have recently noticed that the warmed-up engine will stall sporadically at traffic lights. There are no visible PCM codes. We would appreciate any advice you can give us. Thank you for your prompt response.

Okay, let's start with this with the engine warmed up car in park rev the engine up to 2500 rpm's and hold it there for thirty seconds then suddenly completely release the gas pedal. Then wait five seconds and repeat three more times same thing. Let me know what happens like when releasing the gas pedal the engine stumbles or stalls. Also, with the car in park hold the throttle at 2000 rpm's and let me know if the car runs rough.
