Battery is good starter is new but clicks when u try to turn it over and inside light dims while doing this

has battery been load tested? is battery at least up to 12.5 volts on digital gauge? try to hit body of starter while some one tries to start, if it starts the starter is bad. auto parts stores can test starter to see if its' good or not
