1993 Nissan Pathfinder parasitic drain?

After going over some of the questions being asked by Pathfinders enthusiasts I found the term *parasitic drain, and I believe it applies in my case, (door locks going haywire) and the truck reusing to start due to a weak battery. Where would this leak be and how could it be mended. Thank you!

After turning the ignition off and letting it rest for awhile the car simply won't start and the battery is dead

If you try to jump start the engine will it work? Are you certain the battery is dead? Also, are the battery terminals clean and tight?
