1993 GMC Sierra Bolt fell out

A large bolt fell out, think it is one of the main ones that holds engine in. I see where I think it came out, when I tried to put it back in it would not go all the way. Someone said it goes in the back side of engine. They put it in for me and when I started the truck it popped out.
Would the bolt go in from the front or back side of engine?

Without seeing the bolt, it is hard to tell where it may have come from. Can you upload a pic so I can see what you are dealing with?

Sorry, I don't have a way to do that. The bolt is about 5 in. Long, threads part way, comes to a point.

Sorry it took so long to get back with you. Have you found where the bolt goes yet? It sounds like it could be a motor mount bolt based on your description.
