1992 Volvo 940--I am losing anti-freeze(ounces each day)Is it possibly from water pump?

You need to visually check where its coming from no leaks could be burning in the cylinders

If you have the 2.3L or 2.5L 5 cylender engine, it is run by the timing belt. The 2.3L 4 cylender is not run by the timing belt. Others are not. Make sure that is the problem before replacing. There is a weep hole in the water pump. Check there for a leak. If the bearing or seal is bad, it will leak from that point.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.
