Popping sound on 92 Toyota Camry

I have a 92 toyota Camry 5 speed manual. When I have the car in gear and push the accelerator I hear a popping sound. It sounds like I am running over a crushed pop can.

Where is it comming from? Wheel area? Engine misfire thru the intake? Let me know what you think.

It sounds like it's coming from the the lower part of the engine, perhaps slightly on the right side.
