92 Nissan maxima GXE.

Have had this car for about a year now, when I first got it the A/C and heat seemed to work ok. Eventually it seemed like only a couple of the settings worked, as I have learned it sounds like that would be from the resistor, causing the pressure to only work at certain levels of air pressure. Now, neither heat or a/c works and the front defrost does not work either, which is a huge problem considering our driving conditions lately, with very snowy weather. Literally nothing works that I punch into the control console on the dash. It is an electronic console, and sometimes the lights seem to be dimmed (not because I have the headlights on, just randomly they arent as bright) and often they do not show at all. When I set the fan for either heater/defrost/ac I hear a click near the front of the car, behind the glove box. Not that I know anything, but it sounds like the signal is being sent to wherever, but then it isnt received on the other end. I do have another control console we purchased from salvage but I dont want to dig through and try and replace that if the problem is something like the blower motor. Any ideas?
Thanks! Keep posting videos etc, they help a lot and helped me change my brake pads and rotors!

I assume it is an auto climate control. The programmer may be the issue but you need a shop to do a pin point testing to verify the failure before throwing any parts at it.
