Starting when humid

92 ford aerostar doesnt want to start when humid or wet outside. It trysto start but misses, sounds like running on 3-4 cyls and black smk out ext. I'm on very limited funds and would like a good place to start. Tks

If it only happens when it is wet, chances it is an ignition problem such as plug wires, distributor cap. That is where I would start and that is where I feel the problem is.
