92 Lebaron stalled won't start back up.

92 Lebaron stalled while turning corner. Can't get started again. Temp guage was 1/2 way between cold and hot. When I turn the key on, even without trying to start, all guages respond except oil guage. It stays up at 11 o'clock position like the car isn't even turned on. Went to DYI but still not sure what I should be looking for. Electrical? Belts? Fuses? Thank you.

Engine 3.0L with distributor? If yes pull DIST cap crank rotor turn?

That is something I will have to have done by a mechanic. The timing belt can be replaced, correct? Someone told me if it was the timing belt there was nothing that could be done. The engine was done for. Not true, right?

Yes have done at shop engine not done for very remote chance of a bent valve but at low rpm like car was not likely.
