I have a 1992 Chevy s10 that every time I turn the lights on the lights on the radio go out and the dash lights do not work. I have replaced the dimmer switch for the inside lights and the light switch. I have also replaced the bulbs in the dash and even got a different dash panel set from a salvage yard. I believe it is a ground problem but I have checked every ground I can think of. Any ideas?

Where does the new ground need to run to? The radio or somewhere under the dash. I have tried a new ground to one of the ground post under the steering column.

You can run one to the rear of the radio housing to see if that takes care of the radio light. If it does, then you will know that is the other problem. If I remember correctly, there is a place for a ground on the rear of the stereo.
