Hi I have a 1992 Cadillac Deville. Their is nothing on the a/c system it leaked out. Tomorrow I am going to put nitrogen in the a/c system but I am not sure how much I can put in it. I was thinking maybe 20-30 pounds at the most. What do you think. I do have r12 a 30lb bottle. I also bout some red tek 12a that is a sealer basically. It is just like hot shot. I know hot shot works very well my dad uses it in ac systems when r12 was phased out. He would fix the leak then recharge it with hotshot. Thanks.

I tneeds to beleak checked first and 20-30 punds it is to much unless you are talking about pressure. It needs freoon to leak check electronically anyhow.

Yeah sorry I was typing fast last night. I meant to put 20-30 for pressure. Is that enough or should I do 50 for pressure. Thanks.

50 would be better but if you don't have a leak checker it's not going to tell you anything because it can be a very slow leak. That's is why you need to have it tested electronically and you can't with nitrogen
