Started my car, started to drive and the engine diied. When trying to restart, there was only a clicking sound. Jump started car using terminals under the hood, (battery is under rear seat). Car started fine (died once or twice, then was ok). Drove car home, about 1 mile. Turned off car. Have not had any problems restarting since. Checked terminal connections and did not find any loose connections. Any suggestions and to what may be or was the problem. Battery is the oem delco that came with the car. Should I change.

Thanks in advance.

I would say its due for a battery, 5 yrs old you would be vary lucky to have it go 7 yrs, sometimes the post of the positive side erodes out of the battery, did you loosen and then tighten the battery cables? Ck them for corrosion?
