No I have not yet replaced it, it costs alot here, parts stores around here want 220.00 bucks for a fuel regulator

I just looked at an online partsbook/rockauto, it showed 60--70 bucks. I don't know if that includes shipping? Even that is a little higher than I thought?

I see your problem, I hate to spend money if your not even sure it will fix the problem? Just talking to you over the internet, I can't guarantee anything.

If I was you, I'd get more than one opinion.
