If I disconnect my ac converter. In my olds cutlass ciera 1991. Can I stil drive the car wit it not workin? It started to smok and I have no money a friend is willing to discvonect it for me is that posible?

Are you talking about the ac compressor?If so then yes you can try to find a belt without ac for your car or remove the compressor and install a ac bypass pulley.
