1991 Lexus LS 400 car wont start

I had a dead battery on my car and I bought a new one to replace the old one and it worked but after sitting there for a month now it won't start and it just makes a clicking noise when I turned the key. Even after trying to jump start it, it still didn't work.

Remove the battery and recharge. Once it is fully charged, take it to a parts store and have them load test it to see if it is good. If there is a short within the battery, you will also have problems trying to jump start it.
