1991 Geo Tracker fuel gauge never Move

1991 Geo Tracker and the fuel gauge never moves, it stays at 3/4 full at all times. Any suggestions on what may be causing this?

It could be as simple as a loose wire, or as tough as having to replace the sending unit in the fuel tank. You'll have to trace the wire from the gauge to the tank for beginners.
