Idle air control valve?

Enter your question.I have a 91 mustang 5.0 5 spd. The car hesitates and wont idle down. It will stay at about 1500 rpm as I come to a stop and will idle at around 1000rpm at a stop.

Yes sounds like a dirty throttle body and or idle air control valve and valve bore, I would clean it all thoroughly first before replacing the valve.
