When im driving down the road it sputters and shuts off, always starts up after though whether its first time or after a couple trys.

How long since a tune-up? Any applicable mil codes? You may be able to check mil codes, yourself. You turn key just till the dash lites come on, no further, cycle key on--off, on--off, on, then the mil on the dash starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes. Your looking for two digit codes. If you find any codes, let us know and well get back to you.
