S10 won't crank, or turn over at all. THere is one clicking noise per attempt to start. All lights, wipers, and stereo will still turn on and nothing is dim. What could it be? Also, I let it sit over night, and the next day it started right up. Then, I drove it a bit, shut it off, and now it won't start again, (identical problems as night before. )

Ok. Assuming your battery is ok or has been charged, do you have access to volt meter/ know how to use one? If so while vehicle is failing, check for battery voltage at starter solenoid (big wire) should be 12 volts. If so get a helper and attempt to start vehicle while testing small purple wire at starter solenoid/ should have 12 volts. If battery voltage checks ok on both tests and doesnt crank, replace starter. Let me know.
