My car will crank and keep cranking for a little while then it will start this happened after I bypassed the fuel pump relay all I can think of the problum is that it is the fuel pump relay but I dont know
Why did you bypass the relay? As far as the problem. Check to see if the fuel pressure is within spec and isn't dropping off to nothing as soon as you shut the key.

Have you been able to check fuel pump pressure? It sounds like it is taking some time to build pressure and that is the cause of the delayed start.

Go to our homepage under the DIY section and find the how to check fuel pressure. There are two listings. One gives step by step directions, and the other is a video that shows how to do it. If you can't find it, let me know.
