My chevy cut off on me and would not restart. It acted like it was out of gas. I replaced the fuel pump and the car ran perfectly for 3 days then cut off again and would not restart, again it seems fuel is not being pumped to fuel injectors; when I spray starter fluid into fuel injectors it try's to start.

Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Any applicable mil codes? Is there an injector pulse? Maybe rpm signal issue?

First, it's not a good idea to replace parts without doing a thorrough diagnosis. It'll save you time and money.

First check spark at the plug. Your ignition system is notorious for failure. If no spark, check for voltage at the distributor. If voltage, check coil/ distributor cap and rotor.

If ignition is good, check fuel pressure, both static and operating. If good, check injectors are firing.

If fuel is good, check sensors. (Test, don't replace if not bad)
