Over heating problem

I have a 1991 Honda Acura legend v6 that is over heating. Went and bout new stat and still overheats took out resealed it and runs at operating temp? Thing is though when I reinstall temp it over heats- any thoughts on this?

Check the radiator if its clogged and the water pump if its pumping coolant thru out the engine if it continues to overheat get it block and pressure tested

Is the cooling fan cutting in? Are you loosing any coolant?
