If ou go to the site here you can check the ignitionsystem it will give you step by step on how to check it. You may have a cam or crank sensor problem. Tehy may have to many ohlms and causing this. If this is a fiero and the ngine is in the rear then check the dist cap and wires, as the heat destroys them after a while.

That is a crank sensor and it should be by the oil pan on the rh side (passenger) of the engine. That will take the place of the picupcoil. You should runa scan of the engine, you can come back to site for codes as you have an OBD1 system on your car. Cross a&b on aldl under dash on left side or steering wheel. Count flashes of service engine light for numbers, example 1 flash then 2=12 etc.

You don't have a carank sensor if you have a distributor. Check your fuel pressure it should be 41-47 psi, your pump may getting hot and not working. If it's below 41 then you'll need one or a fuel filter replacement. Also scan this for codes, put a jumper between a&b on aldl count the flashes.

That means nothing is wrong with the computer system or sensors on your car. Check your fuel pressure 41-47 psi. The pump may be failing when it gets hot. Also check your connections to the oil pressure sender as that runs the fuel pump when driving. If you oil pressure falls to low it will cut the pump off.

My advice to you is to take it to a professional who can help you out there. They still can be able to check out the basic stuff. Like compression or whether or not timing chain has slipped. I can't offer any more ideas to help you out.

Try resetting the security system. Put key in ignition turn on and wait up to ten minutes for the light to go out. If it goes out before that fine then try to start the car.
