Car will not start

Starter, alternator, and battery have been checked. I also checked the wires that run to the starter, they do not seem to be damaged. Radio, lights, everything works but when I try to start the car it will not make any noise, no clicking, just nothing. I went to an auto parts store and they told that those were the three things that could be wrong with it. The car was working well and it just stopped working at a friends house.

Could be bad connection, ignition switch and park and neutral position switch.

This sounds like a neutral safety switch, but to be sure lets use a test light on the starter motor trigger wire to see if it is getting power. Here is a guide to help you see what I am talking about:
