Trying to remove starter but not enough room to get it out. Is there some secret trick or do we have to jack up the engine or what? Thanks

No it doesn't, I assure you. I also thought it would be that easy but starter is still hanging under truck. There is no clearance to remove it. I did call my friend at NAPA and was told the only way to get it out was to either remove the cross-member, which is welded or loosen the motor mount on that side and jack up the engine. We are trying this next. Thanks, for you answer tho'.
