Temperature gauge reading hot
1989 FORD THUNDERBIRD
The temp gauge was reading hot but I still had heat. The radiator is full. What would make it read hot?
have the same problem?

Well you would have heat if it were actually overheating. I would verify the actual temperature with a temperature gun or old school with a thermometer at the upper hose.
