What would make it jerk when it's accelerating?

There are a number of things that would cause this, but the most likely cause is a fuel pressure issue. So, let's start with this and then we can move onto ignition.

We need to check the fuel pressure when this is acting up and make sure it remains steady.

I am attaching the info below from the manual that will help with this.

Once we know what the fuel pressure is we can go from there.
