Feels like the engine is cutting off

My Acura Integra 1989 looses power while driving. When I cut it on and drive 5 mins it does it again. Some days it doesn't cut off at all usually does it when I'm driving longer. Whats wrong?

It feels like the engine is cutting off but it isnt. When I push the pedal it goes but no where as near as fast as it should be accelerating.

1.6 liter engine.

Do you have check engine light and when was last tune-up?

Might wanna start by checking the fuel pressure if its witnin specs and also check the exhaust for restriction and throttle position sensor-could also be the transmisson slipping
