When pulling out from a stop, the truck will stall if you give it a normal amount of gas for take off. If you ease into your take off, the truck will run fine. After it stalls it will sometimes start up quickly and other times it takes a few minutes. I have replaced the distributor cap, plugs, wires, fuel pump, fuel filter, rebuilt the tbi, throttle position sensor, egr valve and coolant temp sensor. The service engine light never comes on. I don't know where to look next.

Sounds like a vacuum leak, possibly at the throttle body. Grasp the throttle body flange where the accelerator cable attaches and wiggle it up and down. There should be no play. Next, get some carb cleaner and start spraying areas that are likely to leak: Intake gaskets, throttle body gaskets, throttle bod shaft, etc, with the engine running. If a leak is present, the engine will surge.
