Hello all,

I have toyota corolla 1987FX. While starting with cold engine my engine rpm is below 500 and after 4-5mins of warmup it goes around 800rpm.
Can anyone tell me what;s wrong. After during cold start the engine rpm should be above 1000. Any help?

Thank you
Bishal

One more thing to check would be the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor.
